9 Turn off the gas stove and let the wool yarn soak in 10 Now take the sample out of the beaker and wash
the solution for 15-30 minutes. (Fig 5) it first with luke warm water and then cold water to
remove all soap and impurities.

11 Now add acetic acid (1-2%) with water in a beaker
and add a wool sample in it to restore their natural
pH balance.
12 Repeat the rinsing process until the water runs clear.
13 Gently squeeze out excess water from the wool yarn
and lay it flat to dry. (Do not hang the yarn to dry, as
this can cause it to felt).
